church initiatives
TTA's current church-based work is based at Ridley Hall, (a major Church of England ordination training college).
The overall objective is to discover and demonstrate how the arts can advance and enrich theology with particular attention to the life and mission of the Church.
courses and resources are being provided:
- for ordinands in training at Ridley Hall: to equip these future leaders of the Church with new languages and skills drawn from the world of the arts, so that congregations will be able to discover, explore and learn the Christian faith in fresh and relevant ways.
- for youth workers training at Ridley Hall (in collaboration with Centre for Youth Ministry): to equip youth and community workers with new languages and skills drawn from the world of the arts, so that young people will be able to discover, explore and learn the Christian faith in fresh and relevant ways. This work was generously funded by The Mercers' Company.
